Liquid Humus vs Humic Acid and Humates

Is Liquid Humus different from humic acid or humates?

What's the big deal with "Liquid Humus" and how does it compare? There's a significant difference, and you'll want to keep reading to see why.

Humic acid is typically extracted from a mined carbon source like coal or peat and dissolved with sodium hydroxide which dissolves the organic matter. Humates are simply the dried and screened flocculates from this humic acid.

Aeromaster Liquid Humus on the other hand, is created through a carefully controlled composting process called humification, and uses a specialized recipe of plant materials and microbial inoculants. It is then run through a purified and aerated cold water extraction process. The resulting Aeromaster Liquid Humus packs a whole lot more benefits and contains a significantly broader blend of organic compounds than humic acid, and more importantly, Liquid Humus contains a highly diverse community of beneficial microorganisms.

Think of humic acid or humates as a small part or link in a greater complex molecular chain of nutrients. Each part is valuable, but not as valuable as a full chain. Aeromaster Liquid Humus contains the full spectrum of humus extracts (humic acid, fulvic acid, phenolic acid, polysaccharides and more) that are beneficial to soil and plants along with a very diverse beneficial microbiology.

Liquid Humus buffers nutrients with carbon, which helps to keep nutrient imbalances from happening, and improves balanced nutrient uptake by the plant. This balance is what helps a plant produce more complex sugars (flavor) and healthier cell walls (disease resistance).

Liquid Humus on the seed and in the soil works to restore the soil-food-web and improves the soil to root interface that relies on both chemical and biological communication between plants and soil, putting the plant in charge of extracting the correct nutrients it needs from the soil, in the proper balance it needs to grow healthy.

Liquid Humus can also be used as a direct foliar spray to out-compete pathogens and disease on plants. It stimulates photosynthesis which then pushes more root exudates into the soil, boosting the microbiology that unlocks more nutrients to feed the plants, reducing fertilizer requirements.

The improved plant nutrition of Liquid Humus typically results in higher yields, heavier test weights, improved feed quality in terms of digestibility and and even improved health or reduction in disease among the animals that consume the grain and hay grown with Liquid Humus.
